Vasilis is an Associate practising in the corporate and commercial department of the firm. He specialises in local and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, due diligence reports, legal opinions, and providing general corporate advice. He also has significant experience in multi-million financing transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Vasilis trained and worked in the London corporate team of one of the world’s largest international law firms, where he also qualified as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. There he gained extensive experience in managing complex multi-jurisdictional transactions.

Areas of Practice
Vasilis advises on a wide spectrum of corporate and commercial law matters that affect companies throughout all stages of their corporate lifecycle. He regularly works on changes to the share capital of companies, amendments of constitutional documents and other general corporate matters. Vasilis also has experience in drafting and handling corporate court applications and preparing complex commercial agreements as well as drafting legal opinions on corporate capacity and legal standing.
Cross Border Transactions, M&A & Restructures
Vasilis has significant experience in managing complex cross-border transactions, M&A projects and corporate restructurings. He regularly performs legal due diligence on Cypriot target entities in proposed acquisitions and has extensive experience in drafting and reviewing the documentation in such transactions.
Vasilis advises in both domestic and cross-border financing transactions. He regularly prepares and reviews drafts of facility agreements and the related security documents, such as share pledges, debentures and assignments. He also assists with the completion of the relevant perfection requirements and security registration.
