Headed by managing partner Dr. Kypros Chrysostomides, we pride ourselves on our handling of a significant number of high-profile applications before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, from as back as 1989. We were, in fact, the first firm in Cyprus to do so, and we continue to be involved in the preparation, submission and hearings before the European Court of Human Rights of applications concerning alleged violations of human rights for local and international clients.

A large number of the human rights cases we handle, involve advising clients in Cyprus on the ongoing violations of their human rights, as a result of the Turkish invasion in July 1974.

Our efforts and devotion have resulted in a number of Judgments issued by the European Court of Human Rights in favour of our clients and against Turkey; the latter was, on numerous occasions, found in clear violation of the Applicants’ rights under the European Convention of Human Rights with respect to the continuous denied access to their land and real estate since 1974. It is noteworthy that in one year alone, six of our clients were awarded more than EUR 2.5 million as compensation for their claims against Turkey.
