We strive to enhance tax efficiency, risk reduction and avoidance of tax controversy, effectively and efficiently, in matters involving corporate tax, property tax, personal tax, employment taxes, VAT and customs duties.

In terms of corporate tax, we advise on mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations, joint ventures, commercial projects and due diligence matters. Our corporate and dispute resolution departments work closely with our tax practice team on multijurisdictional transactions and assist with implementing and defending tax strategies for our clients’ international operations and transactions.

Our clients are involved in a wide range of business activities that include finance, property, shipping, technology and energy. A significant part of our firm’s tax-related work concerns private client wealth and personal tax. In this respect, we have advised on tax efficient schemes and incentives for HNWIs, including yacht and aircraft leasing schemes and the use of trusts as well as on individual tax domicile and residency including the Cyprus non-domiciled regime and the exemptions and incentives available to individuals relocating to Cyprus.

We also provide advice to financial institutions in their capacities as trustees, executors, custodians and investment managers.
