We currently represent major local and international food and beverage manufacturers, including Retail Food Group, Jacobs Douwe Egberts, Gloria Jean’s Coffees, Coffee Beanery, Froneri, General Mills and Pernod Ricard, in relation to which our team advises on the full range of related law issues, from food labelling and regulatory advice, advertising and branding, supply and distribution, development and licensing. In the past we also had the opportunity of representing a department store which included a supermarket as well as local wineries.

Our experienced lawyers closely follow the developments of EU regulations and their local implementation and advise on issues that arise under food regulatory regimes, as well as industry guidelines, consumer and competition law. In addition, we effectively deal with food and beverage matters that require IP advice, including obtaining and using intellectual property, such as patents, trade-marks, copyright and trade secrets.

Our corporate and commercial team has the experience and expertise to advise on commercial agreements relating to production, supply and distribution, manufacturing and licensing in Cyprus, within this industry.
