Chrysostomides assists with Rovensa’s USD165 Million Acquisition of Oro Agri

Our firm acted as legal counsel to European Crop Products 2 S.À.R.L., the ultimate owner of Rovensa S.A., for the acquisition of leading provider of environmentally friendly biocontrol solutions, Oro Agri.

Our competition law team advised the companies with respect to the merger control regime in Cyprus and prepared and submitted, on their behalf, the required notification to the Cyprus Commission for the Protection of Competition. The transaction was successfully cleared by the Cyprus competition authority in December 2020.

With this acquisition, Rovensa solidifies its position as the leading independent provider of biological solutions globally and further expands its geographical footprint.
