European Crypto Regulation: A Summary of Law by Country

This survey, headed by the CMS Crypto & Digital Assets Team, London, provides an overview of European cryptoasset regulation (prior to the introduction of MiCA), focussing on 28 European jurisdictions, both inside and outside the EU.
In the Cyprus chapter, senior associates Angelos Exadactylos and Costas Mavrides summarise the regulations applying to the main activities performed by cryptoasset service providers and the requirements of the licensing regimes, including time and cost, for Cyprus.
