Areas of Practice
Ada’s main areas of practice are intellectual property law and telecommunications, media & technology law. She mainly advises clients on the enforcement of their intellectual property rights, such as trade marks, copyrights, and patents.
Ada also advises local and international clients in relation to the interpretation and implementation of the applicable Cyprus regulatory frameworks in areas such as e-commerce, consumer protection, advertising, and cybersecurity. Her engagement with this area of law ensures clients’ compliance with relevant national legislation and business practice, and she represents clients before the Consumer Protection Service, the authority under the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry responsible for addressing complaints by consumers in Cyprus.

Throughout her academic studies, Ada maintained a strong interest in intellectual property law, with her LLM dissertation focusing on how copyright, trade mark and patent rights may assist in reducing the negative environmental impact of fast fashion trends.
As a member of the intellectual property law team, Ada handles a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious matters relating to copyright, trade mark and patent rights. Examples of Ada’s work in this area include conducting trade mark searches for clients, advising on intellectual property portfolio management and reviewing intellectual property agreements, such as licensing and assignment agreements. Additionally, she is active in trade mark oppositions, revocations and invalidation proceedings, representing local and international clients before the Registrar of Intellectual Property in Cyprus.
Telecommunications, Media & Technology Law
As part of her practice, Ada provides legal opinions and reports to ensure client compliance with national legislation and applicable business standards. Further, Ada engages in systematic ‘horizon scanning’ reviews, particularly concerning the EU AI Act, the NIS2 Directive and other emerging technologies.
