Founded in 1981 by Kypros and Eleni Chrysostomides, Chrysostomides Advocates & Legal Consultants marks 45 years of legal practice, growth and development, building a strong presence in Cyprus and an established international profile. What began as a law firm founded by two people has evolved into a modern legal organisation with a team of 100 professionals, covering a broad range of legal specialisations and responding to the changing needs of clients and the business environment.
The firm marked the occasion with a reception that brought together colleagues, clients and friends. Welcoming the guests, Eleni Chrysostomides reflected on the early days of the law firm, which she founded 45 years ago together with her husband, Kypros Chrysostomides. She spoke movingly about their journey together and the dedication with which they worked to bring to life the vision they had shared from the very beginning.

“For us, success is measured by our values”, emphasised in his speech Co-Managing Partner George Mountis. Honesty, integrity and respect for clients and colleagues, he said, remain fundamental to the firm’s approach and the relationships it builds.

Co-Managing Partner Chryso Pitsilli-Dekatris, referring to Kypros Chrysostomides, noted that his most meaningful legacy lies in “listening and genuinely caring: for the client, but also for the people behind each of our achievements, our 100 lawyers and colleagues. It is about developing a rounded understanding, learning, evolving and moving forward together.”

Throughout its history, the firm has been guided by a fundamental principle: to stay closely attuned to its clients, its people and the wider changes shaping the legal and business environment. This philosophy reflects a commitment to understanding clients’ needs, maintaining trusted relationships and continuously adapting to an evolving legal and commercial landscape.
Over the years, the firm has earned consistent recognition from leading legal directories and independent ranking organisations, including Chambers and Partners, Legal 500, ITR World Tax, IFLR1000, World Trademark Review and IP Stars. Its Tier 1 rankings across all assessed practice areas reflect the expertise, quality of service and professionalism of its team.
A significant milestone in the firm’s evolution was the establishment of C Business Advisors, enabling the organisation to offer integrated services that extend beyond legal advice and address the full range of needs of a modern business.
Beyond its client offering, the firm’s recent certification as a Best Place to Work further is a testament to its commitment to fostering a workplace culture built on collaboration, care and mutual support.
As Chrysostomides looks ahead, its ambition remains to be more than a legal adviser to its clients: to be a trusted partner, one that understands their needs, supports their wider objectives and helps them navigate an increasingly complex business environment.
