In his article, published in Kathimerini newspaper Cyprus, Dr. Kypros Chrysostomides refers to the gradual steps to acquire ‘’political equality’’ and explains that it is impossible for the Turkish Cypriot Community to acquire “sovereign equality” . This is because only sovereign states / members of the UNO have this privilege according to its charter. Illegal regimes do not.
