The report provides the first comprehensive assessment of Cyprus’ video game industry, bringing together data, research and industry insights on a sector of growing importance to the country’s digital economy.
In his editorial, George explores the policy and regulatory developments that have supported the sector’s growth, tracing Cyprus’ evolution into an increasingly attractive jurisdiction for games companies and development activity. He examines how a combination of policy, timing and substance has contributed to the industry’s development and continues to support its competitiveness today.
The editorial appears in Section 5 of the report, which also draws on findings from the Cyprus Games Industry Footprint 2024 published by C Business Advisors.
