Loretta is a senior associate with extensive experience in litigating a wide range of contentious matters, with a strong focus on banking litigation, contract law, company law, construction law, and complex, high-value international corporate disputes with cross-border elements. She has considerable expertise in securing interim relief, including freezing / prohibitory injunctions, disclosure orders, asset tracing orders, and contempt orders. Loretta has handled numerous cases concerning the recognition, registration, and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards. Additionally, she has experience in construction claims, providing legal advice and litigating on behalf of some of the largest contractors in the country. She has also advised and litigated on behalf of semi-public bodies in Cyprus.
Loretta has a strong focus on real estate law, offering comprehensive advice and representation in a wide range of property-related matters. Her practice encompasses both residential and commercial real estate, including acquisitions and sales, negotiations, title examinations and real estate disputes. A significant part of Loretta’s practice involves the drafting and review of real estate agreements, such as reservation agreements, sale and purchase agreements, construction contracts, lease agreements, and other related legal documents. With a sound understanding of the legal and business aspects of real estate transactions, Loretta assists clients in navigating complex contractual arrangement, mitigating risk and ensuring due diligence at every stage of a transaction. She works closely with developers, investors, financial institutions, property owners and corporate clients to achieve efficient, legally sound outcomes.

Loretta has considerable experience in handling complex and high-value corporate and commercial disputes. These disputes often involve issues such as shareholders disputes, breach of corporate and commercial agreements, fraud, negligence, insolvency proceedings, cancellation of fraudulent transfers.
She specialises in pursuing or defending freezing orders, disclosure orders and interim injunctions, issued in the context of and in support of litigation or ad hoc/institutional arbitration proceedings. Additionally, she regularly represents clients in arbitral tribunals for construction law matters.
Loretta advises on a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial legal matters. Her expertise includes drafting, executing, validating, interpreting and managing the breach and termination of complex multi-party agreements, including shareholder, distribution and real estate agreements. Additionally, she advises on both voluntary and involuntary company winding-up procedures, fraudulent asset transfer, complex shareholders’ disputes, derivative actions and more.
Loretta has extensive experience in the following matters:
• Provision of legal opinion and analysis of complex legal matters in relation to breach of credit-facilities agreements, receiverships, bankruptcies, personal repayment schemes.
• Provision of legal advice on the legislation for the acquisition of credit facilities and the Securitisation Law of 2018, on debt restructuring and on the regulatory framework on foreclosures, and the procedure for the resolution of non-performing loans.
