We are delighted to welcome Aleksandra Mirgorodskaia to the firm as Legal Consultant – Video Games, Technology and Digital.
Aleksandra joins us from a leading international video game developer and publisher, bringing first-hand insight gained from working at the heart of the industry. Her work has spanned the full lifecycle of game development and publishing — across mobile, PC and console.
She brings deep, practical expertise in the regulatory and commercial realities shaping the gaming sector, including data protection (GDPR), platform regulation, consumer protection, online safety and global compliance frameworks. Her work has included building and implementing privacy and compliance programmes in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, providing strategic advice on evolving data protection and digital safety regulations, and handling regulatory investigations and consumer claims. She has also led brand protection strategies and coordinated cross-border IP and commercial disputes.
Prior to this, Aleksandra practised at leading international law firms, including DLA Piper, where she advised on intellectual property and data protection matters, including complex cross-border projects and contentious work.
Aleksandra’s appointment further strengthens our videogames practice, enhancing our ability to support developers, studios, publishers and investors with advice that is not only legally sound, but grounded in real industry experience.
We are most excited to have Aleksandra join our team, and look forward to working with her as we continue to grow this dynamic area of our practice.
