Partner George Mountis and senior associate Yiannis Karamanolis attended this year’s World Services Group (WSG) ‘Berlin Club meeting’, traditionally associated with the wider field of Dispute Resolution. Russian WSG member firm ALRUD hosted the meeting, which was held in Moscow on 23 June, 2017, and its main theme was “Evidence taking in international proceedings”.
The meeting’s agenda included a keynote speech by Alexey Kostin, Chairman of the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Russian Federation CCI on ‘Evidence taking in international proceedings’, followed by a series of presentations by other legal experts covering subjects, such as ‘IBA Rules on The Taking of Evidence’, ‘EU Taking of Evidence Regulation’, and ‘Evidence in Russian State Courts’.
