Our firm is happy to announce that, on 29 September 2017, it secured an Interlocutory Injunction (“Mareva” and “Norwich Pharmacal” type Interim Orders) against a number of legal entities and natural persons in Cyprus in the context of a civil claim for damages relating to a multi-scale, multi-jurisdictional and very complex insurance fraud.
In the context of the aforementioned Civil Action, handled mainly by Partner Victoria-Zoi Papagiannis and Associate Dimitris Papapolyviou, our firm represents a total of 498 claimants, all of Russian origin, a fact which renders this one of the biggest cases ever brought in the Republic of Cyprus in terms of the number of joint claimants.
