Associate Polina Petrou joined the firm in July 2019 after the completion of her traineeship with the firm. Having acquired diverse work experience both in the litigation and corporate departments during her training, she currently deals with litigation work relating primarily to corporate and commercial disputes, as well as with banking law. Polina’s practice further comprises appearing before the District Courts of Cyprus, reviewing and drafting legal documents and court pleadings, and providing legal opinions to local and international clients alike.
Polina practices civil litigation and regularly appears before the District Court of Cyprus, representing clients in a variety of litigation matters. She works predominantly on cases of a commercial and contractual nature.
Polina is involved in banking litigation cases, focusing on claims concerning debt recovery. She further deals with matters of bankruptcy and insolvency.
Polina’s practice focuses on the preparation of pleadings and the review of legal documents for family cases that go to litigation. She deals with spousal disputes and divorce, child support and custody, maintenance, property division, care disputes and settlement agreements.
