Marilena Miltiadou


Senior Associate

Marilena Miltiadou is a Senior Associate in the firm’s litigation department and a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2009. Her main areas of practice are civil law, criminal law, insurance law, banking and family law. Having completed an approved training program for accredited family mediators, Marilena is a fully qualified family law mediator in Cyprus.

Marilena has acquired significant experience in civil and criminal procedure during her years with the firm. Her practice also includes the review of legal documents and the provision of legal opinions.

She was elected as a member of the Nicosia Bar Association Committee for the years 2012-2014, and then she re-elected for the years 2015-2017.

The 2016 edition of Chambers Europe included Marilena among its list of ranked lawyers as an ‘Associate to watch’.

Areas of Practice


Marilena is a key member of the firm’s litigation team. She brings years of courtroom experience and her litigation services cover a broad spectrum of legal issues. Marilena deals, among others, with debt collection cases. She also assists and advises creditors and develops innovative solutions to protect and enforce their rights. She offers legal support and representation in bankruptcy proceedings. Internally, Marilena works on the review of legal documents, contracts and regularly issues legal opinions on a range of topics. She drafts court applications and pleadings on a daily basis.

During her years with the firm, Marilena has acquired expertise in the field of family law and she regularly helps clients in divorce, property settlement, maintenance, child support, guardianship, adoption, parental responsibility and paternity proceedings. She successfully handles complex cases before the Family Courts, including applications for interim measures to protect her clients’ rights pending the outcome of the main proceedings.

Having completed an approved training program for accredited family mediators, Marilena is a fully qualified family law mediator in Cyprus.

Marilena frequently deals with banking litigation and regularly advises banking institutions based in Cyprus. In this context her experience includes the review and drafting of banking documentation, security documentation and the provision of drafting and technical advice thereon.
