Cyprus’ role as a growing tech hub within the EU was outlined yesterday by our members Chryso Pitsilli-Dekatris and Alexandros Georgiades, who presented at the Invest Cyprus – CIPA Roadshow 2020 Belarus. Chryso and Alexandros discussed the legal framework for managing business and protecting intellectual property assets in Cyprus.
At Chrysostomides, we closely follow legal developments in the field and have developed a solid understanding of the governing legal framework and regulations. Our technology, media and telecommunications team includes lawyers with expertise on a broad range of areas underpinning the interdisciplinary field of technology, including regulatory issues, data protection & privacy, e-commerce, cybersecurity and IP. We are thus in a position to offer our clients, whether start-ups or established technology enterprises, meaningful and practical legal advice to achieve their business goals, ranging from support in corporate transactions to IP protection, regulatory compliance, employment, tax, e-commerce, electronic payments as well as wider contracting issues.
