World Services Group European Regional Meeting 2016

The WSG European Regional Meeting held in Copenhagen, Denmark and hosted by Plesner was a tremendous success and welcomed over 70 participants from 38 firms worldwide. The program featured engaging guest speakers and panel perspectives while offering several opportunities for delegates to network among professionals in the European region and across the WSG Network. Senior associate Artemis Amalia Metaxa represented our firm at the meeting.

Discussions and presentations were very much focused on what the future holds for service providers, with emphasis on the legal profession, and included the following topics:

• Financial developments in the global scene and the impact that these are expected to have on the economies of Europe.
• Digital disruption / evolution and how this is anticipated to affect legal professionals and the provision of legal advice and judicial procedures.
• The role of multidisciplinary partnerships in the current international professional scene, in terms of the future of law firms.
