Our firm is delighted to announce that five of the firm’s senior associates have become partners, as of 1 June 2015.
Nicoletta Kouvara Pantelides joined the firm in 2009 and specialises in Mergers and Acquisitions, Capital Markets and Banking and Finance. She is regularly involved in high-profile M&A transactions and complex multi-million cross-border financing transactions. Her clients include banking institutions, private equity funds and international corporations, the majority of which are in the energy, oil, gas, transportation and agricultural sectors.
Pavlos Symeonides qualified with the firm in 2004 and specialises in Banking and Secured Financing, having advised local and international banks, as well as syndicates of banks on several occasions in multi-million financing transactions. His other main fields of expertise are in the areas of Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions and Cross Border Transactions.
Elena Ioannides trained and practised as a Solicitor in the UK, before joining the firm in 2007. She regularly deals with large cross border transactions, acquisitions, extensive due diligence exercises and complex joint ventures. Furthermore, she has extensive experience in relation to multifaceted, high value financing transactions on behalf of a number of international banking institutions in this respect. She also specialises in oil and gas, data protection and ecommerce law.
George Ioannou joined the firm in 2008 from the position of Assistant Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers Cyprus, where he also qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He is highly specialised in the provision of tax advice and international tax planning and the application of double tax treaties, cross border and local mergers in various industries. His clients include banking institutions, international corporate investors, multinational corporations listed in stock markets and high net worth individuals.
Victoria-Zoi Papagiannis qualified with the firm in 2007. She practises primarily in the areas of Commercial and Corporate Litigation, with particular emphasis on complex, multi-jurisdictional and high-value disputes, the issuance of interim relief, including anti-suit, freezing, disclosure and search injunctions, winding-up applications, breach of contract and the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and awards. She has also been a CEDR-accredited mediator since 2011.
