European Mediterranean Offshore Oil & Gas Services Certification, Classification & Standards Conference

Senior associate Elena Ioannides and associate Eleni Droussioti represented our firm at the European Mediterranean Offshore Oil and Gas Services, Certification, Classification and Standards Conference, attended by industry leaders in the sector, and held at the Hilton Park Hotel on 8 May 2015.

The Conference provided an invaluable update as to the status and developments regarding exploration in the Cyprus EEZ, possible collaboration with Cyprus’ neighbours in relation to exploitation as well as an insight as to the training and standards/certifications required for entities seeking to provide services in the sector. The overall scope of the event was very much focused on providing the regional market with the knowledge and network access to the Oil & Gas industry, as well as the entry routes for the regional companies to establish themselves as long- term suppliers.
